Subject: i.4.see SASID submissions
Thank you again for your involvement as a Pilot district. As we discussed at last week's meeting, we are ready to begin assigning SASIDs (State Assigned Student Identifiers) for your students. As this is a pilot process, we look forward to your feedback regarding the tools you will be using, the instruction sheets we develop, etc. Also as mentioned, please realize that we may come back to you at the end of January and ask that you wipe-out the SASIDs provided as part of this pilot and then ask you to resubmit the SASID requests (but we hope this will not be required).
The following link www.education.nh.gov/data/i4see.htm will allow you to access the data dictionary, ESSWeb tool to submit the SASID requests, and a help document.
We will have limited support next week (the week of 12/20), but for those of you with the knowledge and eagerness, please go ahead and submit your SASID submission file(s) once it is ready. Remember, during the pilot process we will have to manually verify your submission before the system can assign SASIDs. So expect up to a 24 hour delay after you upload your file. We will e-mail a confirmation once the file has been processed. Also we will continue to work on performance, for now smaller files (e.g. several hundred records) transmit within a few seconds, larger files (in the thousands) can take a minute or two.
Thank you again for your assistance in the pilot project. If you have any questions or comments, please send us an e-mail i4seeHelp@ed.state.nh.us .
