

Case Study Compliance Review Process for New Hampshire Private Schools
The Case Study Compliance Review is required for all private schools undergoing NHDOE Special Education Program Approval. The NHDOE Program Approval and Improvement Process is a federal monitoring requirement for all States that offers New Hampshire private schools an opportunity to:
In preparation for the NHDOE visit, teams of general and special educators work together to gather and analyze student work and other relevant information to describe the programs and progress of randomly selected special education students. The process may include a timeline of each student's educational experiences and services, work samples, IEP, progress reports, assessment information, and any other information that contributes to a full picture of the student's school experience. At the Case Study Compliance Review, the information collected will be presented to a volunteer team of visiting New Hampshire educators. In addition, classroom observations will be conducted and interviews will be held with parents, students, school administrators and school board members.

for Special Education Program Approval of Private Facilities and Non-District Programs are included here. Private facilities/non-district programs are required to complete the full application, in addition to the self study form, programs must also submit a complete copy of all current special education policies and procedures,along with completed health
and fire
inspections, and other requested forms.
For New Programs or Changes to Programs:
For new special education programs or changes to existing programs, such as changes to locations, grade level or disabilities served in an approved program, a "New Program or Change to Existing Program Application" must be filed and approved by the NHDOE.
