

Purpose
The purpose of this work group is to collaborate through a consorium of the IHE's including input from the Professional Standards Board, The Council for Teacher Education, Credentialling Bureau and key NH RESPONDS Staff to infuse the scientifically based RtI systems of PBIS, LI and Secondary Transition into the IHE's teacher preparations programs. This will be accomplished through a proces of curriculum mapping of the NH RESPONDS competencies (developed by the NH RESPONDS LT) against the IHE's teacher preparation program courses in specific program areas and making any necessary adjustments to course curriculum. Also to align this work where possible with federal regulations, state certification standards, other statewide initiatives, and the special education state performance plan. Activities will include: regular meetings of the Consortium, curriculum mapping of the NH RESPONDS competencies against IHE course work, sharing this work with Professional Statdards Board, Council for Teacher Education and other key intitatives to align efforts.
