The New Hampshire Department of Education, Bureau of Career Development, requests proposals from agencies and organizations that serve incarcerated populations, ages 14-24. This funding opportunity is intended to provide successful applicants with the necessary resources to support and improve career and technical education (CTE) opportunities for incarcerated youth and young adults or young adult offenders (ages 14-24).

Education for Homeless Children and Youth (EHCY) Word document

This RFP has been issued by the New Hampshire Department of Education, Bureau of Integrated Programs, Office of Homeless Education for the purpose of soliciting proposals from local education agencies (LEAs) for the development of programs which meet the educational needs of homeless children and youth and the requirements of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, Subtitle VII-B, Education for Homeless Children and Youth.

The McKinney-Vento Education of Homeless Children and Youth sub-grant is designed to promote the enrollment, attendance, and educational success of homeless children and youth in schools and other educational services for which they are eligible, including Head Start, Even Start, and pre-school programs administered by the LEA.

As required by the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, Subtitle VII-B, funds are made available through a competitive sub-grant application process. Sub-grants are awarded on the basis of need for assistance and the quality of the application. The RFP is for a three-year funding cycle (2016-2019)

Proposals are due by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2016

Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) Support Grants RFP: Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) Support Grants, Acrobat Reader

The New Hampshire Department of Education, Bureau of Career Development, requests proposals from NH career and technical student organizations (CTSOs), as recognized by the National Coordinating Council for Career and Technical Student Organizations, to continue to support and develop the CTSOs available to NH’s students. This funding opportunity is intended to provide successful applicants with the necessary resources to:

A. develop and improve the CTSOs in the state; and

B. provide students with another means of developing leadership skills

Career and Technical Education Incentive Grants for Eligible Secondary Recipients Career and Technical Education Incentive Grants for Eligible Secondary Recipients, Acrobat Reader

The New Hampshire Department of Education’s (NH DOE) Career Development Bureau solicits proposals for Incentive Grants awarded under the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006. This Request for Proposals solicits program improvement projects that:

  1. Relate to increasing and sustaining access to and enrollment in career and technical education programs; or
  2. Relate to the increased use of Perkins data-driven decision making in curriculum and instruction; or
  3. Develop and integrate standards-based academics with a career-relevant, sequenced curriculum following industry-themed pathways that are aligned to high-skill, high-wage, high-growth jobs in the current regional economy, or in emerging regional economic sectors; or
  4. Ensure that career pathway programs are designed and implemented in a manner that leads students to a post-secondary degree or certification in a high-skill, high-wage, and high-growth or emerging field; or
  5. Prioritize work-based learning opportunities for students in partnership with regional business and industry, state and local government entities, and nonprofit and community-based organizations; or
  6. Are deemed by the Career Development Bureau to be a project that is targeted toward increasing access to career and technical education programs for special populations, including individuals with disabilities; economically disadvantaged backgrounds, including foster children; students preparing for non-traditional careers; single parents, single pregnant students; students with limited English proficiency; and displaced homemakers.
