Governor’s Advanced Manufacturing Education Advisory Council

The New Hampshire General Court passed legislation in 2008 creating the Advanced Manufacturing Education Advisory Council. Members include lawmakers, manufacturers, and educators who focused their work on the charge of the council: “to advise the Department of Education in the implementation, evaluation, and expansion of the advanced manufacturing curriculum, to assist the Department of Education in pursuing public and private funds in order to ensure statewide access for all public high school students to advanced manufacturing curriculum coursework.”

Advanced Manufacturing Partnerships in Education (AMPEd)

The New Hampshire Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NH MEP) recently created the NH MEP Work Source web portal. NH MEP Work Source is designed to help high school and community college students in New Hampshire search for jobs and internships with New Hampshire manufacturers.

  • Once on the Work Source homepage follow the Job/Internship Seekers menu item at the top of the page. On the next page are job and internship listings from qualified New Hampshire manufacturers. Visit any of the listings for more details. Check back often as more manufacturers will be listing their jobs and internships.
