Title I Part A, Helping Disadvantaged Children Meet High Standards

Formula grants to school districts through Title I, Part A provide opportunities for children to acquire the knowledge and skills to meet the State proficiency standards. This purpose is accomplished in two ways: (1) by providing children supplemental support through enriched and accelerated education programs; and (2) by providing instructional personnel in participating schools with substantial opportunities for professional development.

Title I, Part A Allocations for SY 2018-2019

Below are the PRELIMINARY Title I, Part A LEA allocations for SY 2018-19. We expect to receive “final” award notification in June; therefore, these amounts should only be used for planning purposes. Formal notification will be provided when the final grant award notification is received from the U.S. Department of Education.

Please note that there has been an overall decrease in the total preliminary grant award to New Hampshire due to a decline in poverty levels statewide.
