The New Hampshire Networks

The NH Network logo

What is The New Hampshire Network?

Great work in education is going on all over New Hampshire, but it’s often sectioned off into pockets making it challenging to collaborate and learn from each other. One of this site’s core aims is to address that problem. The New Hampshire Network’s features let users connect to educators, reach out to experts in the field, explore hundreds of curated resources in our KnowledgeBase library and join the communities and networks that are being launched across the state.

New Hampshire Network: Instructions to Log-in & Quick Tour

To log-in, visit:

  • On your first time logging in, all users need to reset their passwords. To do this, enter your e-mail and then click “Did you forget your password” to reset it. You will receive an email within a few minutes with a reset password link. (Make sure to check spam if it doesn’t arrive)
  • Go back to the log-in page and log-in with that new password

Once you’re logged in, here’s a quick tour around.

Navigation Bar & Dashboard

The Dashboard is the homepage of the platform. On the top left you have Inspire Someone, which is a simple discussion widget. If you want to post a comment, share a link, video, photo, or file with everyone across the New Hampshire Network you can do it here. You can also choose to post directly in a group or course you’re a member of.

Underneath is your Inspiration Feed. The feed will cycle through personalized updates just for you. Anytime a member of a group (the new name for Network!) posts a discussion or resource, it will show up in your feed. Once you build connections, their actions will also show up in the feed.

On the right side of the dashboard are actions you can take:

  • Join a Group (used to be called Networks!) – From this widget you can see new groups that you might want to join, as well as click “Browse Groups” to see ALL of the groups across New Hampshire that you might be interested in participating in.
  • Learn Something New – From here you can explore courses, formerly known as learning paths, that you can take for asynchronous or synchronous learning experiences.
  • Connect With Your Peers. One of greatest assets of the New Hampshire Network is it connects all of you to each other, and also to other educators across the country. We highly encourage you to connect directly with others in the network. Once you connect, you can chat with them in our snazzy direct chat feature.

Keyword Search, Notifications & Your Profile

snapshot of where the search button is

Keyword Search: In your header bar you have access to keyword search! Use it to find specific resources, groups, courses or connections.

Notifications: On the right side of the header is a little bell for notifications. Anytime a user posts in a group or course that you are a member of, you will receive a notification. You will also receive a notification if you are added to a group or course, or if someone likes or comments on a discussion post or resource you add to the platform.

Your Profile: In the top right corner, you will see your name. Click on that to view or edit your profile, change your password and sign out.

Bookmarks: In your navigation bar on the left hand side you can view bookmarks – anytime you are looking at a resource in a group or course, you can bookmark it for easy access. You also can bookmark courses themselves, if you want to find them easily.

Chat: In the bottom corner of your screen you will see a little Chat tool. You can have live chats with any user who you have added as your connection. Use this tool for synchronous conversations and learning.
