Director of Communications

The public information office of the New Hampshire Department of Education.

This office is responsible for facilitating communication between the department and the media and is responsible for issuing press releases, answering queries from the media, and arranging interviews. The Director of Communications, Grant Bosse, gathers facts and distributes them to the media and the public through various outreach efforts.

Grant has served as the Department's Director of Communications since April 2019. Prior to that, he worked in a variety of roles across New Hampshire journalism and public policy, including as Program Direction of WTSL-AM 1400, Lead Investigator for the Josiah Bartlett Center for Public Policy, a policy staffer in the New Hampshire House, New Hampshire Senate, and U.S. Senate, and as Editorial Page Editor for the New Hampshire Union Leader and Sunday News.

The Director of Communications may assist with public records requests, but formal requests under the New Hampshire Right To Know Act, RSA 91-A, should be filed with the Department's Legal Counsel.
