DOE Website Redesign Phase I Acrobat Reader

The State of New Hampshire, acting through the NH Department of Education (NH DOE), is releasing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to improve the overall look and feel of the NH DOE website that focuses on user-experience and reflects the NH DOE’s aspirations for student education in NH. The purpose of this RFP is to obtain a vendor that will design a website that focuses on user-experience to meet the needs of NH families, students, educators, schools, businesses and other community members based on the student experience, system structure and stakeholder ecosystems in NH resulting in a clean, minimalist design that is visually appealing, intuitive and interactive.

There will be a non-mandatory vendor conference on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.

The Bureau of Special Education is seeking proposals for up to three (3) individuals to serve as New Hampshire Special Education Team Facilitators responsible for facilitating meeting in school districts in a variety of locations across the State as requested by the school district or a parent and assigned by the State Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education.

Career and Technical Student Organizations Career and Technical Student Organizations, Acrobat Reader

The New Hampshire Department of Education’s (NH DOE) Career Development Bureau solicits proposals for Grants to Support Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs), awarded under State funding. This Request for Proposals solicits projects that support the implementation of high-quality CTSOs in order to increase the number of the following:

  1. Students participating in CTSOs at CTE centers and postsecondary institutions;
  2. Middle school students and parents informed about CTSOs; and
  3. Students attaining completer status, as defined by the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006, to include the attainment of an industry recognized credential, if available.

Any funding requested must be directly aligned with NHDOE approved career and technical education programs.

Career Pathways Grants for Secondary Eligible Recipients Career Pathways Grants for Secondary Eligible Recipients, Acrobat Reader

The Bureau of Career Development solicits proposals for Incentive Grants awarded under the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006.

The U.S. Departments of Labor, Education, Health and Human Services, and Transportation have all recognized the need for and encourage the advancement of career pathways, which have been defined as "coherent, articulated sequences of rigorous academic and career and technical courses." This Request for Proposals solicits career pathway projects that will support the implementation of high-quality career pathways in order to increase the number of the following:

  1. Students participating in Work-Based Learning opportunities and business and industry partners collaborating with CTE centers to offer WBL opportunities;
  2. Middle school students and parents informed about career pathway options;
  3. Students attaining completer status, as defined by the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006, to include the attainment of an industry recognized credential, if available.

Grants to Provide Services that Prepare Students for Non-Traditional Careers Grants to Provide Services that Prepare Students for Non-Traditional Careers, Acrobat Reader

The Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006 requires New Hampshire to make available a part of the state leadership funds portion of its state allocation for services that prepare individuals for non-traditional fields (Sec. 112(a)(2)(B)). Through this RFP, the Bureau of Career Development solicits proposals for grants to be awarded under this section. All applications for this RFP must be for the purpose of providing services that prepare individuals for non-traditional fields, such as recruiting and retaining students within a CTE Program of Study that leads to a high skill, high wage, or high demand occupation that is non-traditional by gender.
