NH Pyramid Model State

Building an effective and sustainable state infrastructure to improve the social-emotional outcomes for young children.

NH Pyramid Model State provides training, technical assistance and support to NH leaders from public and private organizations who are concerned with the social-emotional development of our State's young children. The Pyramid Model is a positive behavioral intervention and support (PBIS) framework that uses systems-thinking and implementation science to promote evidence-based practices. We created The Pyramid Model for Supporting Social Emotional Competence in Infants and Young Children to help early educators build skills for supporting nurturing and responsive caregiving, create learning environments, provide targeted social-emotional skills, and support children with challenging behavior.

The goals of the NH: Pyramid Model State project include the following:

  1. Develop an effective and sustainable state infrastructure for the model
  2. Develop a five-year comprehensive, strategic plan based on Implementation Science
