Sally Griffin is a lifelong resident of New Hampshire. She was born and raised in Nashua and spent her early career as a partner in The Tamposi Company, a family owned commercial, industrial and residential real estate development firm with extensive holdings throughout New Hampshire and Central Florida.

During her business career she became active in community affairs and philanthropy serving on numerous charitable boards throughout the state. These have included Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Nashua, The Manchester Boy’s and Girl’s Club, The Palace Theatre, New Hampshire Public Radio, and as a member of the Tamposi Family Foundation.

She has spent much of her adult life volunteering to advance the cause of children and adults in need of advocacy and support. Sally served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) as guardian ad litem for at risk children and teens before the state’s legal system on issues of education, Foster Care and family placement. She was appointed and served on The New Hampshire Human Rights Commission and has also served as a volunteer patient advocate for Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

In addition to this work her interests in education informed her commitment as longtime school volunteer and classroom parent in Bedford schools. She more recently served as a volunteer classroom para-professional working with kindergartener’s in the Gilford Public School system.

Sally received her BA in Communications from Emerson College in Boston. She and her family reside in Gilford, New Hampshire.
