Press Advisory- NH Great Apple Crunch

CONCORD- In celebration of  National Farm to School Month, the New Hampshire Department of Education’s Office of Nutrition Programs and Services is hosting the state’s very first New Hampshire Great Apple Crunch on October 20th. Crunch into a locally grown New Hampshire apple to celebrate! We are looking forward to the event as students and staff at schools and centers across the state will be able to participate on October 20th, and feel a sense of connection, safely whether on-site or remotely learning.

The Department is encouraging New Hampshire students and educators to share pictures and videos of themselves crunching into fresh apples to social media with the hashtag #NHGreatAppleCrunch2020.
