1/25/2022 at 6:00pm: iPlatform for General Public

iPlatform has been updated with state assessment data and school environment data for the 2020-21 school year. Explore the new version of NH DOE’s iPlatform. Review accountability data displayed in iPlatform, and learn more about what this data represents. Look for trends within schools. Most districts have schools within the state they believe are comparators (share similar demographics). Explore these school profiles and identify opportunities to connect and learn about best practices around the state. Hear about additional updates that will be coming later this year.

 

2/08/2022 at 3:15pm: iPlatform for K-8 Educators

How are students in different subgroups in my schools performing on the state assessment? Are my students growing in their academic performance over time? What other schools or districts in the state are similar to mine? How can I pull data to present to my school board? If these or other data related questions are on your mind, consider learning more about the NH DOE's iPlatform tool. As of Fall 2021, iPlatform was updated to include new data. It's a great tool to explore your school and explore factors like school funding, demographics, assessment results, and other indicators across the state.

 

2/09/2022 at 3:15pm: iPlatform for 9-12 Educators

What are the high school indicators? Are my students ready for college? How are my students performing on the SAT as compared to other schools? What other schools or districts in the state are similar to mine? How can I pull data to present to my school board? 3/17/2022 at 1:00pm: iPlatform for Researchers

As a researcher you may want to know what data exists at the NH Department of Education. Much of the data is now available in the DOE's tool called iPlatform. This webinar will dive into the data and consider questions researchers may have. We will explore correlations between factors, such as school funding or class size and student achievement. We will review the different components of data and also learn how you can download data for your own analysis. We will point out where cell suppression is incorporated to protect student privacy, but there is lots of data that you can explore. Ask your own questions, and we can walk through the system together. Learn what new features and data will be released as the system continues to be enhanced.

 

4/05/2022 at 6:00pm: iPlatform for Parents

As a parent, have you wanted to know how schools are performing around the state? Are you considering moving and would like to know more about schools in a given region of the state? Maybe you are curious about the ratio of students to staff, or you would like to know which schools have larger special education programs. iPlatform can help you open the door to the performance of schools in New Hampshire. This is a special interest training for English Language Educators. We will share the overall components of iPlatform and will review what data exists, how the tool provides insights into the performance of schools throughout the state, and how you can explore the relationships between indicators and consider an indicator (e.g., English language proficiency) across schools. iPlatform creates a vehicle for stakeholders throughout New Hampshire to learn more about the schools in the state. This training will feature specific questions that the interest group might want to explore in iPlatform. You will be able to ask your own questions, and we can walk through the system together. Become familiar with the tool, so you can explore on your own and learn what new features and data will be released as the system continues to be enhanced.

 

4/12/2022 at 3:15pm: iPlatform for Special Education Educators

We will review what data exists, how the tool provides insights into the performance of schools throughout the state, and how school counselors can explore the relationships between indicators and consider an indicator (e.g., student achievement) across schools. iPlatform creates a vehicle for stakeholders throughout New Hampshire to learn more about the schools in the state. This training will feature specific data that the school counselors might want to explore in iPlatform, such as school environment, student achievement, and college and career readiness. You will be able to ask your own questions, and we can walk through the system together. Become familiar with the tool, so you can explore on your own and learn what new features and data will be released as the system continues to be enhanced.
